Cherry Bakewell Protein Balls


If you have a real sweet tooth (like me!) then this protein ball is the one for you. Based on one of the nation's favourite cakes this ball is super easy to make & completely delicious!

Makes 10 balls

Macros per ball:

94kcal / 5g protein / 11g carbs / 3g fat

Ingredients:

50g oats (regular or gluten free)

40g vanilla whey protein

80g glacier cherries

50g flaked almonds

10g honey

1/2tsp almond extract

2 tbsp water

Instructions:

1. Place oats, whey protein, honey, almond extract, water, & half of cherries & almonds in food processor - blend until mixture sticks together (add more water if neccessary).

2. Add remaining almonds & cherries & give another short burst in blender (this will leave nice chunky bits in the ball & give it more texture - if you prefer a smoother ball just skip this step).

3. Pull mix out using a spoon & roll into balls.

4. Pop in fridge for 10mins to harden.

5. Eat! :-)
