Snickers Protein Balls


Chocolately, peanutty, caramelley - my new flavour of protein balls hits all of the right notes. Amazing if you fancy a mid morning pick me up!

Makes 10 balls

Macros per ball*:

89kcal / 6g protein / 8g carbs / 3g fat / 1g fibre

* May vary slightly depending on ingredients used

Ingredients:

50g oats (regular or gluten free)

10g powdered peanut butter (such as PPB or PB2)

20g cocoa powder

40g chocolate peanut whey protein (if you don't have this flavour you can just use vanilla but add 10g extra peanut butter powder & cocoa powder)

40g natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy depending on preference)

30g low sugar chocolate syrup (such as "Choc Shot" - available in hot chocolate section of supermarket)

20g maple syrup, honey or agave

1/2 tsp salted caramel extract

3 tbsp water

Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients in food processor & blend until stuck together (if more water is needed to make mix sticky then add this)

2. Spoon out mixture & roll into balls

3. Leave in fridge to harden for 30mins

4. Enjoy!
