Apple Crumble Protein Balls


Incase you haven't already guessed from browsing through the other recipes (if you haven't what are you waiting for?!) I LOVE apple flavoured desserts, therefore an apple crumble flavoured protein ball seemed like a must.

Like all of my weekly protein ball recipes this one is under 100 calories & gluten free. It can be made vegan too :-)

Servings - Makes 10 balls

Macros per ball:

74kcal / 4.5g protein / 9.5g carbs / 2g fat / 0.5g fibre

Ingredients:

50g dried apple (I used 2x Whitworths mini bags available with the dried fruit snacks at Sainsbury's)

30g oats (regular or gluten free)

40g vanilla protein powder

30g cashew butter

40g honey or agave

Cinnamon to taste (I used 1 tsp)

Instructions:

1. Cover dried apple in boiling water and allow to soak for 10-15 minutes

2. Add all ingredients in blender/food processor and blend until mix sticks together

3. Scoop out using a spoon and roll into balls

4. Eat! :-)
