Strawberry Pop Tart Protein Balls


Lately I've been craving Pop-Tart's, however as they're over 200 calories a slice & i'm currently in competition prep I thought i'd find a way to get my fix but in a more diet-friendly way.

This recipe contains only 57 calories a ball & unlike regular Pop-Tarts can be enjoyed by those who can't have gluten too!

Servings: Makes 13 balls

Macros per ball:

57kcal / 4g protein / 6g carbs / 2g fat / 1g fibre

Ingredients:

30g oats (regular or gluten free)

40g vanilla or strawberry protein powder

50g dried strawberries

45g cashew butter

1tbsp strawberry jam

1 tbsp sprinkles

1/2tbsp water

Instructions:

1. Soak dried strawberries in boiling water for 15 mins.

2. Place all ingredients (except for sprinkles) into a blender/food processor & mix until stuck together.

3. Scoop out using a spoon, roll into balls & roll in sprinkles to coat.

4. Eat! :-)
